What I'm Lovin' Wednesday

It's Here!  It's Official!  It is really, truly SPRING!
The sun is shining, the weather is warm, and my spirit feels renewed.
(We won't talk about the snow in the forecast)

What I'm Lovin' this week:

SPRING:  I love waking up to sunshine and birds singing every morning.  I don't even mind the rainy days (as long as we don't have too many in a row!)  The kids are outside every day~where they need to be!
Our daffodils are blooming, tulips are coming up, even my garlic is already about 8 inches tall!

ZUMBA:  Today I went to Zumba for the first time since my foot surgery in December.  It's always awkward the first few times you go....learning the routines, getting your foot moves, etc.  I totally feel like the most ungraceful, uncoordinated swan.  (Which I'm pretty ungraceful & uncoordinated anyway, this just makes it worse!)  But Zumba is a really good workout and I lovse to sweat!  I look forward to getting back in the swing of things to srengthen my body and lose some weight.

WIRELESS PRINTING:  OMG.  Can I just say that this is wonderful!!!  We got a new desktop computer and printer recently.  Our new printer has wireless printing, so I can be anywhere in the house (or backyard) with my laptop and print whatever I need!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!

Have a great week!

Craziness

I apologize for my 2 week absence, but things have been absolutely C.R.A.Z.Y. around here!
It all started with the arrival of the Girl Scout cookies.  You may not know, but for the 6 weeks following cookie delivery, there is an endless supply of them somewhere.
That somewhere happens to be at my house.  I store them and people who were missed in the pre-sale, don't know a Girl Scout, or who already ate all the ones they ordered and need more can purchase them.
Troops also purchase them and sell them outside of stores or walk door-to-door selling cookies.
So for those 6 weeks I have to be readily available to anyone needing cookies.
And LOTS of people need cookies!

Throw in all of our other daily activities, Rylee participating in 2 sports right now, Evan's swim class and pre-school schedule, regular activities, oh---and the fact that we have to squeeze meals, homework, laundry, etc. in all of that, and I am left in a tailspin!

So please forgive my absence.  Contrary to popular belief, I haven't been sitting around watching soaps and eating bon bons!

But I will make more effort to be a better blogger and will post more often!

Happy Spring everyone!!!

Got Cookies?

The Girl Scout cookies are in!  Yesterday was the delivery for the Clinton area.  I get the cookies for all the Clinton troops and they come pick up from me.
This is what my garage looked like yesterday:

What I'm Lovin' Wednesday

It's Wednesday!  We're halfway through the week!  Only 2 more days til the weekend!  Yay!!!

What I'm Lovin' this week:

SLEEP:  Maybe this should go under the "What I WOULD love" title instead!  Evan has a habit of coming into our bed at night and he is the worst person to sleep with.  He kicks, he flops, he hates covers and he is just too big to sleep between us anymore.  We have tried everything to keep him in his own bed, but nothing works.  The past 2 nights have been awful, we have been up taking him back to his room several times a night.  So today I am super tired and would LOVE sleep!!!

Cake Balls!  Here I go again with my junk food!  But seriously, these things are SOOO yummy!  I made a batch this weekend just for fun.  I've seen them everywhere and wanted to try it myself.  They were pretty easy and so good!  They really should come with a Warning:  Highly Addictive label!

Rylee.  This is my sweet girl!  She is 11 1/2 (going on 25) and she is one of the coolest kids I know!  She is funny, smart, athletic, sweet, and beautiful.  She is in 6th grade this year and yesterday she invited me to come have lunch with her at school.  I went once at the beginning of the year and she wasn't too sure about the "reaction" that would get!  Ha!  But I went yesterday and all her friends were excited and she was excited and it was so much fun!  Then this morning she asked me if I would come once a month from now on!  YAY!!  I guess that means I'm not the totally embarrassing mom that she won't be seen in public with!  Maybe that will come in the next few years, but I know several of her friends wouldn't DARE let their moms come to school for lunch, so I feel pretty honored.  And we'll just stick with the fact that it's because I'm cool!

And last but not least, I am LOVIN' the sunshine!  It has been bright and sunny for the past 2 days and it just makes me so happy!  It hasn't been very warm, but I love to look out the window and see the sun!

Have a great rest of the week everyone!
